In his studies, he realized that the approach to human resources issues differed greatly between Sweden and the United States.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1002bce elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1002bce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The American view of HR work was rooted in measurability, results and hard facts with clear requirements that all work should lead to business success. The contrasts to the Swedish model were perceived as big. Here, the connection to financial results has traditionally been less clear, soft values \u200b\u200bhave been rewarded and decisions have been made on gut feeling rather than analysis. M\u00e5rten thought about how these two angles could be combined into a golden middle way where the well-being of employees was a central starting point, but with measurability and financial success as the end goal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3e8fd6f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3e8fd6f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">HR tech &amp; Innovative leadership<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-06c5136 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"06c5136\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>During his time in the USA, M\u00e5rten also had the opportunity to carry out both shorter and longer study visits to a number of global tech companies, all of which are considered to be at the forefront of both leadership and HR. The companies&#8217; &#8220;born global approach&#8221; had in many cases forced them to independently develop the tools that managers needed to pursue successful leadership at a distance. The tools were used for performance management and competence development but also feedback collection.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9087397 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9087397\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Feedback for the future<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9fdf0f8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9fdf0f8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The latter, the feedback collection, took place frequently, systematically, team-oriented and with a strong focus on small improvements. This aroused new thoughts for M\u00e5rten and his previous thoughts about well-being and goal management began to blossom into a concrete business idea.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-580542a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"580542a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Flourish helps leaders grow<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8cf9008 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8cf9008\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"text-align: center;\">Once back home in Sweden, M\u00e5rten came in contact with Ulf Larsson and Jonas Malmberg at the Halmstad company Quicksearch. For over 25 years, these veterans in organizational development have helped companies with customer and employee surveys through feedback. Quicksearch saw that the market was developing rapidly and that new, agile tools were needed. When M\u00e5rten&#8217;s idea of \u200b\u200ba simple and team-oriented feedback solution met their experiences and insights, it became a \u201cperfect match\u201d.
